Yamaha YZF-R1

Yamaha YZF-R1

After getting a good response for the superbikes, Yamaha is planning to move one step ahead and is planning to launch it’s next superbike YZF-R1 next year in india. However there are no correct stats given by the national business head of India Yamaha motors Pankaj Dubey.

The company is currently selling the R-1, MT-01 and VMAX (which they recently launched) in india. All the products have been brought as CBU till now due to which their costs adds to 20Lakhs for VMAX and 13 lakhs for the other two models. Which means there won’t going to be any price slash as the price will be including the 110% import duty.

Along with the yamaha, the big players like Ducati, suzuki, and harley davidson are also planning to get the grip in this sector in india. 2010 will be going to be a very good year for the bikers.
